FAQs
These are the signs there's a gap between your product's value and what prospects need to become buyers:
• Your website sounds like five other tools trying to “streamlining” and "supercharging."
• People read your site and still don’t really know what you do.
• Prospects don’t know why they should choose you over the competition.
• You’re spending more on webpages and traffic but they aren’t driving revenue.
These are the signs there's a gap between your product's value and what prospects need to become buyers. I help B2B teams fix this with website messaging based on what your buyers actually care about.
Projects usually start around $5k for research, strategy, and one flagship page. The exact price depends on:
• Pages in scope. Which pages we’re working on and how many.
• Hard-to-reach buyers. Niche or senior buyers that are harder to book interviews with usually require more effort and time in the research phase.
• Complex stakeholders. Multiple teams to work with (product, sales, marketing, leadership) means more interviews during kickoff.
From start to finish, the buyer research sprint takes four weeks to get you the final Buyer Messaging Toolkit and one webpage wireframe. If you need more webpages, it'll take longer.
Because scheduling customer interviews can be difficult. There are 3 weeks allotted to the buyer research in case of any scheduling bottlenecks.
You’ll need to help with onboarding, and a few customer intros. After that, it’s mostly hands-off until we review findings and align on the strategy. Apart from the team interviews, the process runs async by default, with optional live check-ins when needed.
No problem. I can guide you on how to identify the right customers to speak with and even help draft outreach. I’ll also mine reviews, analyze survey data, read support tickets, and run stakeholder interviews to fill in the gaps.
Almost. I’ll need to speak with a few team members during kickoff, and customer interviews are live by nature. The rest can run async but I have open office hours we can schedule calls to check on the progress.
Not at all. I'm based in Japan, but this is a research-heavy, async-friendly engagement. I work flexibly to accommodate interviews and Loom walkthroughs across time zones. I have office hours that overlap with APAC, Europe, and the US.
No. I'm not a designer. The deliverable is a wireframe with layout suggestions you can share with your designers. The copy in the wireframe IS production ready and based on the VoC data.
The research part of my will be super useful for your other sales and marketing assets but I don't provide these as part of the service.
